Holocaust Children's Art
Friedl Dicker-Brandeis was an artist and educator. She taught art to children who were prisoners in Terezin, a "model ghetto" designed to fool the allies. Before she was killed in Auschwitz in 1944, she managed to save over 4,500 children's drawings.
